Dvorana slavnih lige NFL je sprejela osem novih članov, prvo ime generacije 2021 pa je izvrstni podajalec Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning je bil v ligo NFL izbran kot 1. izbor nabora leta 1998, v svojih 18 sezonah pa je dvakrat osvojil Super Bowl (2006 z Indianapolis Colts in 2015 z Denver Broncos), osvojil pet nazivov MVP in bil sedemkrat izbran v idealno (All-Pro) postavo. Na 266 tekmah je podal za 71.940 jardov in 539 touchdownov, kar sta bila ob njegovi upokojitvi rekordni številki (presegla sta ju Tom Brady in Drew Brees). Še vedno pa ima v lasti rekorda po številu touchdown podaj (55) in po številu jardov (5477) v sezoni.
