Vodstvo Premier lige je potrdilo, da se bo nova sezona angleške Premier lige začela 12. septembra.

Zadnji krog v letošnji sezoni bo izpeljan 25. julija.

Klubi bodo imeli slaba 2 meseca časa, da se pripravijo na novo sezono. 

Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United in Wolverhampton bodo imeli bistveno krajši odmor, saj so v boju tudi na evropski sceni.
